Well, just got an email from the President. Seems he wants our ideas on health care reform. So I went to the HealthReform.gov website and sent the following note:
"If you want to reduce health care costs, let people pay for their own health care. Whenever you have a third party picking up the tab, the cost will skyrocket, it's a law of nature. If we are spending too much on Medicare and Medicaid, hey, why don't we try spending LESS on Medicare and Medicaid? And who cares if people are uninsured? It's up to the individual to decide if he wants or needs health insurance. If you want to get involved in charitably helping those who cannot afford medical care, well, there's the Shriners, the March of Dimes, and many other organizations you can get involved with, without taking money from the taxpayer at the point of a gun."
I'm getting to be such a curmudgeon.
