LifeYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! This letter was printed in the New Zealand Herald this morning! So, don't let crap like Anthony Stone's statement slip by unchallenged - if you read comments like his in your local paper, take the time to write to the Editor!

Dear Sir,

I am saddened by the words of Anthony Stone from the Salvation Army, as reported in your Career section, that "Life doesn't make sense without God". Perhaps his life doesn't, but mine most certainly does.

Like all Objectivists, I live my life for my own joy, and nothing more. To live my life holding anything other than my own life itself as my highest value would be sacrificial, and hence immoral.

I can strongly recommend Ayn Rand's book "For the New Intellectual" for those wishing to learn more about such a genuinely individualistic, life-affirming philosophy.

Yours faithfully,
Duncan Bayne
